​Dear brothers and sisters in Francis and Clare,

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing away of Sister Louise Guay, the Abbess of the Poor Clares in Rivière-du-Loup.

Sister Louise was known to many us as our primary contact with the Poor Clares when we do our annual Journey to Cacouna.  

She welcomed us with such warmth every year and was so happy to see us faithfully visit her "poor" Sisters. She will be a great loss to their community and to our Franciscan Family .
