Notice of AMG - June 29, 2022
April 25, 2022 Dear members of the Corporation, I am writing to schedule an annual meeting (AGM) of the civil corporation of the Regional Fraternity of Eastern Canada. According to our Civil Bylaws, the members of this corporation include all members of the Regional Fraternity of Eastern Canada as well as all Regional Council members. This annual meeting is a requirement of the Canada Not-For-Profit Corporations Act under which our regional fraternity is incorporated as an organization. Having the meeting of the corporation prior to the Elective Chapter will free up time for other matters. The meeting of the corporation will be a virtual one using Zoom, and will be no longer than one hour. Please let me know if you would be available for this meeting on: Wednesday June 29, 2022 at: 7:00 PM EST and 8:00 PM ATL Everyone must pre-register ahead of time by sending an email to Michel David, Regional Minister at [email protected] so that we can ensure that only members of our Region are allowed into the virtual meeting. Though attendance and the right to vote in the AGM is open to all permanently professed members of the OFS in our Region, Local Fraternities must as a minimum, inform the Region of the three delegates they are sending to the Elective Chapter in July to also participate in this virtual AGM. An agenda with the documents that will be discussed during the meeting will be forwarded to registered delegates prior to the meeting.
